About us
Aile for Period aims to create a world where
menstruation is never a barrier.
Aile's view of the negative aspects of menstruation is the negative experiences individuals have, the discomfort associated with menstruation, and the resulting loss of opportunities.
To fundamentally resolve this problem, it's necessary to address not only the concerns of menstruators, but also to raise awareness of menstruation in education and society, and to resolve issues with social systems.
Above all, promoting literacy among individuals is essential.
Current menstrual education in Japan provides ample knowledge about the mechanisms of menstruation, but offers very few opportunities to learn practical aspects of it.
Therefore, Aile will develop educational materials, conduct training, provide on-site lessons, and hold events.
We provide opportunities for schools and families to learn about and think about menstruation .
Story behind Aile for Period
Aile = "wings"

Period = "Menstruation"
Aile is French for wing , and Period is English for menstruation.
To create a society where everyone is freed from negative experiences related to menstruation, and where each individual can freely choose their own life.
The name Aile embodies both the meaning of "wings," representing such a wish, and the meaning of "cheer," representing the feeling of support and encouragement.

The Little Period Museum
The Little Period Museum is a menstrual education kit developed by Aile. It's a kit that allows people of all genders to learn about menstruation through reading, playing, and talking. In addition to use in the classroom, it can also be used for library displays and storage in school infirmaries.
